When Charlie started at OPS, he had never been able to form lasting or meaningful friendships, often due to his Autism and ADHD. Charlie now has a really lovely group of friends.

Charlie also used to struggle with food, had a very limited diet and was unable sit at the dining table with us. He used to have to sit alone in lunch breaks in his previous schools due to the sight or smell of food.

With encouragement and food science at school, Charlie not only sits with all his friends during lunch breaks, we can eat as a family together, go to restaurants for meals and has generally a much better relationship with food.

Charlie is passionate about Computer Science and Mathematics, excelling in both subjects with the support of his teachers. The combination of academic lessons and practical lessons (an example animal care) are well balanced.

Mrs Browns passion and belief that every child deserves the same opportunities shines through, not just in herself but also the teachers and pupils.

When my son started Overstone Park School on the 3rd of January 2023, I was a bit concerned about how he would blend in. My concern stemmed from the fact that he had needs which were difficult to meet in his previous school. However, my concerns were short-lived as he took a liking to the school within the first week.

The staff have been awesome. They are very understanding, flexible and sensitive to his needs. On few occasions when it seemed the transition was taking a toll on him, measures were put in place to ensure a smooth transition and they ensured my fears were allayed.

He enjoys going to school. This is reflected in his eagerness to return to school even on weekends and holidays. He is thriving under your care and I have no doubt in my mind that he is truly loved at Overstone Park School.

Thank you for giving him the opportunity and making him feel welcome and happy to be there.

The personalized attention and innovative teaching methods have fostered not only academic excellence but also a strong sense of confidence and curiosity in him. The supportive community and diverse opportunities provided by the school have truly made it an exceptional place for holistic learning.

I wholeheartedly recommend Overstone Park School to any parent seeking a nurturing and enriching educational environment for their child."

Overstone Park School has been a breath of fresh air to deal with. They have understood my son and his needs and have worked closely with us to create a bespoke and comprehensive package of support for him which has enabled my son to flourish and reach his academic potential.

He has not only received top GCSE grades recently but he has also developed a love of learning and a sense of belonging.

Overstone Park School have taken their time to rebuild my son s confidence in the educational system and helped him to connect with others.

Mrs Brown has known instinctively from the beginning how to get the best out of him. She has known when to give him space or when to give him encouragement.

Mrs Brown genuinely cares for each and every student and can often be found playing chess with them or having a friendly chat. We will be forever grateful for Overstone Park and for everything that they have given to us as a family.

Mrs Kelly Arterton

Overstone Park School is a small nurturing school with excellent staff who go the extra mile to ensure success in all pupils. Staff are attentive and the facilities are always improving to ensure the students have the best.

My son enjoys his days at school and feels that attending OPS has helped him academically because of the small class sizes and teachers who are always willing to listen.

I am so glad that we found them!
